Born and raised in Birmingham, AL.,Walter ”Fletch” Fletcher began coming to the Florida panhandle every summer since the tender age of 2 years. His father, Walter Fletcher Sr., was a prominent real estate attorney in Alabama. And, Walter senior’s brother, Jim Fletcher, owned a real estate company in Birmingham. Fletch was exposed not only to the Gulf Coast on a regular basis, but also to the ins-and-outs of real estate business.

With collegiate swimming scholarships offered to Fletch from a dozen different schools, he chose to swim, as Team Captain, at Florida State University, the closest to the Gulf Coast where could surf, swim, and fish as often as possible. With a degree in Communications, he could not venture away from the panhandle and  resided on the Gulf Coast for decades. His knowledge of the history and development of the Panhandle area runs deep ; So does his reputation as a down to earth, communicative genuine business person and friend.

Fletch is also a Realtor with Crye-Leike in Nashville, Music City USA, with strong ties to the Real Estate, Swimming ,and  Music communities, where one of his loyal client’s purchase was featured on “The Property Brothers”  TV broadcast.
